The complete picture
Mining intelligence from orbit to point of sale

One platform that watches the ground from space, verifies it on site, and follows every gram of ore from the pit to the export port.

LoderaIQ turns satellite imagery, drone survey, field assay and tamper-resistant logistics into a single, auditable account of what is actually happening across a mining territory. Governments see independent oversight instead of self-reported returns. Operators get defensible truth about their own sites, faster and cheaper than a survey crew. Financiers underwrite against verified reality rather than a claim. This page is the whole story in one scroll, what the platform is, the problem it closes, the six capability pillars, the technology beneath them, and where to go next.

Live, not a concept

Already in operation, and expanding

The strongest signal we can give a regulator, an operator or a financier: this is running infrastructure.

LoderaIQ is live and in operation on a national mining programme, managing real licences, real sites and a real chain of custody. The aerial drone-survey layer is rolling out next, adding ground-truth resolution beneath the satellite view. We scope each deployment with you and share a commercial offer built around it.

Live in operation

Running today on a national mining programme, keeping licences, sites and custody records on one system of record, not a pilot deck or a prototype.

Aerial layer rolling out

Drone survey with AI geological interpretation is being added on top of the satellite layer, bringing centimetre-scale ground truth to wide-area awareness.

Commercial model

We scope the sites, flows and layers you need with you, then share a commercial offer built around that scope.

The shift

From periodic spot-checks to continuous, independent, auditable truth

Value leaks in mining precisely where visibility ends.

For decades, oversight of a mine has depended on infrequent site visits and on figures the operator reports about itself. Between inspections, a pit expands, a stockpile moves, a boundary is crossed, and a truck leaves with a tonnage nobody independently confirmed. The gaps are not malicious by default. They are structural, because no single source watched the whole chain. LoderaIQ closes those gaps by replacing the periodic, self-reported model with a continuous, independent, auditable one: the ground is monitored over time against a dated baseline, activity is checked automatically against the licence that permits it, grade and tonnage are measured with defensible methods, and every load is tracked to the port. The result is not more paperwork. It is a single version of the truth that stands up when it is challenged.

Before

Periodic and self-reported

Spot-check inspections, operator-declared production, siloed drone, lab and logistics data that never reconcile, and a blind spot between mine and port where royalties and ore quietly leak.

After

Continuous and independent

Territory-wide monitoring against a dated baseline, automatic legality checks, defensible grade and tonnage, and a tamper-resistant chain of custody, all on one registry, one map, one audit trail.

Orbit to point of sale

One connected chain, not six disconnected tools

Walk the mineral value chain the way it actually runs, target, licence, pit, assay, truck, port, royalty.

The six pillars are stages of a single journey. Each stage measures something real, hands defensible evidence to the next, and writes to the same audit trail, so the story of a mineral is continuous from the moment it is a geological anomaly to the moment its royalty is reconciled.

1
Exploration

Find the target

Satellite and drone survey with AI geological interpretation prioritise mineral targets for ground follow-up. This is target generation for planning, an anomaly to investigate, not a defined resource, and never a substitute for competent-person sign-off.

2
Detection & compliance

Check it is legal

Observed activity is overlaid on the licence polygon and checked automatically. Extraction outside a permit, or in a relinquished or no-go area, is flagged against a dated baseline, the difference between finding ore and policing activity.

3
Site & ESG monitoring

Watch the ground change

Pit expansion, machinery, excavation and stockpile change are tracked over time, alongside land disturbance and rehabilitation against permit conditions, protecting the environment and the operator’s social licence at once.

4
Ore tracking

Prove the grade and follow the load

Field-portable XRF grade measurement gives defensible grade, AI volumetrics measure pit and stockpile size, and loads and trucks are tracked mine to warehouse to export port with weight capture and QR/RFID for a tamper-resistant chain of custody.

5
Marketplace & trade

Move it to sale

Registered, verified ore reaches buyers with auto-generated export permits and digital trip approvals, closing the mine-to-port loop with the provenance that financiers and offtakers require.

6
Revenue assurance

Reconcile the royalty

Declared production is reconciled against observed extraction and defensible grade, surfacing the gap where royalties leak today, collected through a digital wallet and automated payments, all written to one audit trail.

The six pillars

What the platform does, in plain terms

Each pillar is a working capability with a mechanism and an outcome, not a tile label. The full technical depth lives on the Platform pages.

Together the pillars cover the entire lifecycle of a mineral. Read them as a capability set here; follow any pillar down into the Platform reference layer for how the measurement actually works.

Exploration

Satellite, drone and spectral data are interpreted by AI to highlight areas worth investigating and to plan ground follow-up. Spectral analysis indicates surface mineralogy, alteration and vegetation stress. It points a geologist where to look; defensible grade still comes from physical sampling and assay.

Detection & compliance

The platform overlays observed extraction on registered licence geometry and flags activity that falls outside a permit or inside a prohibited area. Because every flag is tied to a dated baseline and imagery provenance, it is defensible evidence for an enforcement action, not just an alert.

Site & ESG monitoring

Continuous monitoring tracks how a site changes between dated captures (pit growth, machinery movement, excavation and stockpile change) and extends to land disturbance, tailings and rehabilitation against permit conditions. It gives operators a defensible record and regulators an environmental view without a site visit.

Ore tracking

Grade and tonnage are made defensible by combining field-portable XRF grade measurement with AI measurement of pit and stockpile volume, then every load is followed mine to port with weight capture, QR/RFID tags and digital trip approvals. The ore’s identity and quantity travel with it in a tamper-resistant record.

Marketplace & trade

Verified, registered ore connects to buyers with auto-generated export permits and a documented provenance trail. Trade rides on the same custody evidence produced upstream, so what is sold is what was measured, moved and permitted.

Revenue assurance

Observed production is reconciled against what is declared, surfacing under-reported tonnage and leaking royalties in qualitative terms the state can act on. Collection runs through a digital wallet and automated payments, closing the loop between extraction and revenue.

The technology stack

Five layers, one system of record

Each layer has a role and an honest limit. The value is that they share one registry, one map, one audit trail, so their evidence reconciles instead of sitting in silos.

No single sensor tells the whole truth. Satellite sees wide but coarse; drones see fine but narrow; AI scales interpretation but does not replace a qualified person; XRF gives defensible grade but on a physical sample; tags secure custody but not composition. Placed on a shared cadastre and coordinate reference with dated baselines, the layers cross-check one another, and that single spatial spine is what makes a flag defensible.

Satellite, wide-area awareness

Territory-scale coverage that watches every registered site over time, catching change and activity that periodic inspection misses. The trade-off is resolution and cadence, which the drone layer sharpens.

Drones, ground truth

High-resolution aerial survey (rolling out) that confirms what the satellite suggests and feeds photogrammetric volume measurement. It brings centimetre-scale detail to the areas that warrant a closer look.

AI, scale and speed

Automated measurement of pit volume and stockpile size, spectral reads and change detection between dated captures, across an entire territory at once. It accelerates human judgement; it does not replace competent-person or QP sign-off.

Sensors & XRF, defensible assay

Field-portable X-ray fluorescence gives grade and tonnage evidence that stands up, feeding the defensibility that financiers and code-compliant reporting require. Imagery indicates; XRF plus physical sampling substantiates.

QR/RFID, tamper-resistant custody

Tags and digital trip approvals bind each load to its truck and its weight from mine to port, making the chain of custody tamper-resistant. This is what turns ‘a truck left the site’ into provable provenance.

What changes

Outcomes you can defend, not numbers we invented

Every claim here is qualitative by design, the platform surfaces value that leaks today, it does not promise a headline percentage.

The return on LoderaIQ is the visibility it creates. Revenue that was invisible becomes measurable; production that was self-reported becomes independently verifiable; ore that could be diverted becomes traceable. Because the outputs are auditable, they hold up in a dispute, an audit or a financing decision.

Royalties

Recover what leaks today

Reconcile declared against observed production to surface under-reporting, the qualitative self-funding logic where the platform is paid for out of the revenue it recovers.

Resource

Defensible grade and tonnage

XRF grade measurement plus AI volumetrics produce evidence buyers, regulators and financiers accept, the difference between an indicative figure and a bankable one.

Custody

Tamper-resistant chain of custody

Loads and trucks tracked mine to port protect the operator’s own product from leakage and dispute, and give the state provenance it can trust.

Legality

Extraction outside a permit, flagged automatically

Continuous, territory-wide legality checks against licence boundaries replace occasional inspection with independent, dated evidence.

Commercial model & why us

Built to become hard to replace

A single system of record for licences, sites and custody is what makes LoderaIQ hard to replace once it is in place.

The platform is designed to be entered without a capital commitment and to become more valuable the longer it runs, because it accumulates the definitive record of a jurisdiction’s mining activity.

Scoped to your programme

Adopt the layers you need for the sites that matter. We scope the programme with you and share a commercial offer built around it.

One registry, one map, one audit trail

All five layers write to a single system of record on a shared cadastre. Once a jurisdiction’s licences, custody and audit trail live on LoderaIQ, the record is continuous and defensible, and replacing it means giving up that history.

Hard-to-replicate integration

Satellite, drone, AI, XRF and RFID rarely sit on one spatial spine. The integration, not any single sensor, is the differentiator, because it lets each layer cross-check the others into evidence that survives challenge.

Built to replicate

Orbit-to-point-of-sale coverage with modular layers means a national programme is a beachhead: the same architecture extends site by site and jurisdiction by jurisdiction without rip-and-replace.
